The
automatically detected types of activity by IDEEA®
gait analysis system and activity monitor shown above
encompass most of activities of daily living (ADL) and postures. For different
age group, activities differ. For example, the elderly have difficulty in
posture transition, such as sit to stand, lie to sit. They seldom go up
stairs, down stairs and almost never run. The portable gait analysis and
function analysis ability by IDEEA®
-- a portable gait
analysis system and activity monitor provides not only
spatial-temporal parameters, but also kinetic and kinematic variables, such as
pulling acceleration, ground impact, pre-swing angle.
