What information is collected and how is it used?

There are three kinds of information collected by MiniSun. 

Website Access Information - Website Access Information is anonymous data that MiniSun uses to administer the website.  This information is compiled into a statistical aggregate and used to track website usage, diagnose problems and improve the website for your future usage.  Website Access Information collected includes your domain name, your IP address, and your browser type.  None of this information is connected to your Personal Information.  When you enter our site you are anonymous and will remain that way unless you register, login, or select to provide us with personal information such as on the feedback form.  MiniSun uses WebTrends Live to gather and track website access information.  Following is WebTrends Live Privacy Policy:

Personal Information - Personal Information is any information that personally identifies you.  This information includes your name, your phone, fax, e-mail address, your company name and address.  This information is used to conduct on-going business with you which includes responding to your inquiries, sending e-mail updates about MiniSun and its products, processing orders, sending products.

Patient Information - Protection of the privacy of patients and other testing subjects is the top priority at MiniSun. Please do not send any information that can identify your patient, such as the real name, social security number, driver’s license number, heath information, or any data containing identifiable personal information to MiniSun. The terms name, L-name,F-name used from MiniSun website are only for clients and does not indicate any real name of patients or subjects participating human studies.

Does MiniSun disclose information it collects to outside parties?

MiniSun does not provide or sell Personal Information, credit card information or Patient Information to any other organization.  MiniSun does provide statistical analysis of the IDEEA database collected from different users. Under no circumstance will this summarized IDEEA information contain data that will disclose the identity of a patient.

Security

The MiniSun website has implemented security measures to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of information under our control.  MiniSun limits access of information to only those employees with a need to know. MiniSun processes web orders with Secured Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to protect your information.
