Start IDEEA® is the first step in using IDEEA®.  IDEEA® can record up to 7 days of physical activity.  Following is an overview of the Start IDEEA® process. Physical Activity Monitoring Process (PA Monitoring Process) The subject puts on the IDEEA® sensors and the IDEEA® Recorder. Connect the IDEEA® Recorder to your PC. Using the special web browser provided by MiniSun select Start IDEEA® from the IDEEA® menu.  Follow the instructions on this page to initiate a physical activity recording.  The computer does not need to be connected to the Internet for the Start IDEEA® program to work. Disconnect the IDEEA® Recorder from your PC. Keep the IDEEA® recorder running till instructed or up to 48 hours. After the recording is complete the subject removes the IDEEA® sensors and IDEEA® Recorder.

1. Connect the IDEEA^® Recorder to your PC.

2. Login to IDEEA^® Operations and select the Load web page.

3. Follow the instructions on the Load web page to initiate the transfer of the physical activity data to your PC.

4. Disconnect the IDEEA^® Recorder from your PC.

Load IDEEA Data will transfer the physical activity data currently stored in the IDEEA Recorder to your computer. When you select start the Shw.exe program will load the personal information you had filled in during the Start IDEEA process.  Be sure the information matches the data in IDEEA Recorder you are going to transfer. The file saved on your computer will have the following naming convention:

FilePath_mm_dd_yy_hh.bin

where FilePath is a file name (not patient name) of your record, and mm_dd_yy_hh is the month, year, day, and hour when the file is saved. The ".bin" file extension indicates that the file is a binary (machine code) type of file.

Process Data operation enables you to analyze data in the file that you have loaded from the IDEEA Recorder and translates the results into readable documents.

The file to be processed has the following name convention: 

FilePath_mm_dd_yy_hh.bin

where FilePath is a file name (not patient name) of your record, mm_dd_yy_hh is the month, year, day, and hour when the file was loaded from IDEEA to your computer. The .bin indicates file is of binary (machine code) type.

Please make sure the binary file is what you intend to process.

After the physical activity data has been uploaded, MiniSun will analyze the data, provide consultation if required, compare your results to the MiniSun database, and create detailed reports about the physical activity.  The Report web page is used to download completed reports created for you by MiniSun.  Only reports for data that you uploaded will be available on the Report web page.  You cannot access other people's reports and they cannot access your reports.
