ECG and Heart Rate During Physical Activities (optional, custom device with IRB approval)

Below is a snapshot of the ActView^TM showing the electrocardiogram (ECG, black color, lower panel) and heart rate (dotted green) of a custom-designed IDEEA device while the subject was running.

IDEEA device can record ECG signal during heavy physical activity with minimized noise. A complex algorithm was applied to calculate the corresponding heart rate. After the recorded data are downloaded to a PC, the user can use the powerful windows based program ActView^TM to display the raw data and calculated results for every heart beat and for each step, 24-hr around.

The heart rate information provided by IDEEA and ActView during work, leisure or exercise can be valuable to healthcare providers.
